The Pilates Point Studio is a boutique style studio in Cumberland, RI that offers small group fitness classes specializing in Classical Pilates Mat, Barre, Yoga, Cardio Training, and more. We also offer private and semi-private training sessions on Pilates Equipment. We welcome all fitness levels and our staff is trained to modify exercises based on your individual needs. All instructors at The Pilates Point Studio have a minimum of 400 hours of training.
The Pilates Point Studio started as an idea to offer small Pilates Mat classes to local friends. Krista Perry, owner and instructor, opened her doors in April 2017 and the entire business has grown by word of mouth thus far. Shortly after opening, the studio grew to also offer Reformer, Tower, Barre, Yoga, Cardio, and Circuit Training, and now offers even more of a variety with classes like Zumba and Pound.
The success and growth of the studio has been exciting and contagious! We were blessed to be able to expand and open the doors of our beautiful and current location at 3415 Mendon Road, Cumberland, RI in June 2018.
We recently had our five year anniversary at the Studio. We want to thank our 500 students who make our studio successful, our incredible staff and the community including the mayor for coming to our Celebration! As a thank you we gave away 13 raffle prizes and enjoyed food, drink and great company.
We are looking forward to continuing our growth by becoming an Education facility that will train teachers the Pilates Method via the Legacy program created by Lolita San Miguel.

2 Fun, Music Driven Classes to Experience!
Pound with Kelly or Samn
Pound is an exercise class with rock-star flair. The class consists of drumming, cardio and strength training. Throw in some yoga and Pilates, and it becomes a jam session that rocks the body and mind. Participants join the instructor in BECOMING the music.
Inside Flow Yoga w/ Lauren
Music drives the Inside Flow Yoga classes and frames the whole sequence. During the Inside Flow class, you gently move from one posture to another carried by the music, bringing you into a trance-like, almost meditative state. Movement and breath are ONE. You can't synchronize them because they come already together. You can only enhance your breath. When we practice, the key idea is the actual movement BETWEEN the postures, not the posture itself. The important thing is how you get to the posture. In Inside Flow, you are singing a song with your body. Every language has its benefits and your challenge is to find your own. Some people relax with punk rock and some with classical music. Your choice of music defines you and your practice. Inside Flow has different sequences with slow, fast, upbeat, relaxing songs starting from Hip Hop to pop music. It's wonderfully amusing and heartwarming.
